Official Server Rules & Regulations

Welcome to Little Britain Roleplay Server! Please ensure you read these rules and remember to follow them at all times! Failure to do so can and will result in punishment.
1. General Community Rules
  • Zero Tolerance: Harassment, bullying, or targeting any member of the community will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
  • Discrimination: Racism, sexism, or any other form of discrimination is strictly prohibited.
  • Staff Impersonation: Impersonating a member of the LBRP staff team is completely forbidden.
  • Age Limit: You must be 16 years of age or older to play on the server.
  • Account Responsibility: Do not share your character or account with anyone else. You are completely responsible for your character's actions.
2. Character Names
  • Your character needs to have a somewhat realistic name. If staff do not think it is appropriate, they will ask you to change it via an administrative support ticket.
3. Forbidden Roleplay Types

The following roleplay scenarios are strictly prohibited from being performed on the server:

  • Serial Killer / Mass Murderer concepts
  • Lethal Bounty Hunter | Hitman scenarios (Non-Lethal Bounty Hunters are permitted)
  • Rape Roleplay
  • ERP (Erotic Role Play)
  • Suicide Roleplay
  • Terrorism roleplay
  • Impersonation of PD (Police Department) or EMS (Emergency Medical Services) unless it is backed by a valid, pre-established roleplay storyline.
4. Communication Guidelines
  • All communication must be conducted completely in-game; using external software like third-party Discord calls during active sessions is forbidden.
  • You must possess a fully functional, working microphone. If your character roleplays as a mute or doesn't speak, you must communicate clearly and efficiently using the /me command. We highly encourage the use of emotes to fit the context.
5. Phone Applications (Twitter & Yellow Pages)

Twitter Platform:

  • You are completely prohibited from advertising the sale of illegal items on this application.
  • You are not to "bait" the Police Department or other rival gangs. General trash talk must be kept to an absolute minimum.

Yellow Pages Platform:

  • This platform is intended exclusively for advertising legal businesses or selling general items. If an item is illegal, it must be hidden behind a creative disguise to appear legitimate.
  • Do not use the Yellow Pages for simply asking people to contact you or vice versa.
6. Exploiting & Cheating
  • Exploiting game bugs or jobs to gain an unfair advantage is strictly forbidden.
  • The use of 3rd party programs, scripts, or tools that offer gameplay advantages is prohibited. This includes graphical mods that remove environmental detail beyond what is natively supported by the baseline game.
  • Keeping any items obtained from an active glitch, system bug, or modder is not allowed.
  • Transferring assets from one character to another is prohibited. This includes creating a new character layout for the sole purpose of moving money or items. Transferring items to another player because you are leaving the server or deleting your character is also forbidden.
  • You cannot possess more than one character in the exact same gang organization.
  • Using unfair game mechanics to secure an advantage will result in punishment.
  • Failure to report any discovered bugs to the development team immediately via the #support-tickets channel in Discord will result in punishment.
7. Out Of Character (OOC) Guidelines
  • Do not break out of character (OOC) regardless of the situation. This includes calling people out in-game for poor roleplay, technical mistakes, or rule breaks. Instead, call for staff utilizing /report. If no staff responds, use /civid to gather their ID and continue the scenario until you can submit a report via Discord's #support-tickets channel.
  • Do not address other community members by their OOC identifiers, such as their explicit Steam or Discord profile names.
  • Do not refer to your alternate characters or other players' alternative characters as "cousins".
  • Terms used when referencing staff members (e.g., calling them "gods", "government", or stating you are "making a prayer") are completely forbidden. If you have to make an admin report, you must continue roleplaying the situation naturally.
8. Relationship RP

Any interpersonal drama that bleeds In-Character (IC) from Out-Of-Character (OOC) or vice versa that causes toxicity, rumor spreading, or general disruption will result in punishment. Staff members are not here to babysit personal relationships that turn sour both IC and OOC.

9. Use of /ME Command
  • The /me command should be utilized exclusively to enhance roleplay depth for surrounding players. If a /me command makes logical sense within a scenario, it must be respected and followed. Try to remain realistic.
  • The /me command is not to be used for artificially "taking" physical items from someone, such as guns or radios. These are things you must physically retrieve using script mechanics.
10. Metagaming
  • You must only utilize knowledge that your character has organically learned completely In-Character.
  • Anything you find out or observe from external Live Streams must not be applied or taken In-Character.
  • Anything you learn or read from the community Discord channels must not be utilized In-Character.
11. Scenario Initiation
  • All operational roleplay initiation must be performed directly face-to-face.
  • You may protect your friends if you or they were involved in a previous linked situation and are in trouble. However, you must actively counter-initiate on the opposing party first.
  • Initiating hostile action against someone must always have a solid, sensible roleplay rationale behind it.
  • You must make an effort to issue 3 clear verbal warnings to establish initiation.
  • An initiation window naturally ends after 30 minutes. Always keep the New Life Rule (NLR) in mind.
  • Someone attempting to take you hostage or rob you constitutes active initiation. If their attempt fails, you do not need to re-initiate to defend yourself or retaliate.
12. ForceRP & FailRP

ForceRP:

  • You cannot force initiation mechanics; it must evolve naturally from the nature of the immediate roleplay scenario.
  • You cannot force your way into another active group's roleplay scenario that you were not originally a part of (applies to both Civilians and PD).
  • You cannot force a player to enter their house, motel, or garage layout to retrieve items or vehicles for you.

FailRP (Non-Realistic Actions):

  • Swimming or climbing ladders while actively handcuffed.
  • Misuse of the player carrying mechanic.
  • Police baiting or Gang baiting (intentionally doing actions purely to attract PD or Gang attention).
  • Tackling or ragdolling players for no roleplay reason.
  • Leaving an ongoing situation before the NHS staff have completely finished your medical treatment.
  • Removing a patient from the direct care of the NHS before they have finished being treated.
  • Using external soundboards or playing music without using an in-game /boombox or a vehicle radio; it must make sense.
  • Using the Musket weapon against any civilian, regardless of the scenario context.
  • Combat Storing: Storing items or garaging vehicles while engaged in an active, ongoing roleplay chase or scenario (e.g., hiding items/cars while actively escaping from the police).
13. Powergaming & Value of Life (NVL)

Powergaming: Abusing game modifications, script vulnerabilities, or mechanics to your absolute advantage to bypass realistic limitations.

Value of Life (NVL - Civ vs Civ):

  • You must value your character's life at all times.
  • When a weapon is pointed directly at you, you are required to comply with demands at all times (you may attempt to flee only if a clear opportunity arises, such as them lowering or turning the gun away).
  • Intentionally planning or executing jumps from extremely high areas is prohibited (accidental falls are excluded).
  • Taking massive vehicle jumps at unrealistic, high speeds.
14. Body Dumping Regulations

Dumping is the act of incapacitating someone, removing all their communication tools, and hiding their down body where they have zero chance of rescue (e.g., ocean, deep wilderness, or isolated roofs), forcing them to respawn. If a player respawns, they wake up at Pillbox, lose all inventory items, and must strictly follow the New Life Rule (NLR).

  • Minor arguments, trash talk, or simply hitting someone's car does not give you a valid reason to dump their body.
  • You must always use dumping as an absolute last resort if alternative escalations (like basic punching or melee fights) have failed.
  • To avoid dumping penalties, ensure down players have a phone on them, are completely untied/uncuffed, and are not placed in deep water where their emergency distress call fails to function. Avoid excessive force over minor situations!
15. New Life Rule (NLR) & Injuries

New Life Rule: Occurs when you have been dumped or bled out/respawned at Pillbox Medical Center. You lose all memory of the events leading up to you going down.

  • You must forget all details and events that led up to your character going down.
  • If you respawn at the hospital, you are completely barred from returning to that scenario location for 120 minutes (2 hours). You must sit out and recover. While you must act as if you forgot the event, your friends can fill you in later, allowing you to re-engage after the 2-hour window has cleared.

Injuries & Treatment:

  • When you are 'down' on the ground, you are not dead. You can and should still roleplay out your physical injuries to the responding NHS staff.
  • Pronouncing yourself dead means you are permanently killing (perma-deleting) your character. Only NHS staff can pronounce a character dead for arranged storylines, or yourself when choosing to kill off a character permanently.
  • Do not use /report if medical help doesn't arrive; waiting out the timer is part of gameplay.
  • A friend can carry you to the hospital only when you are absolutely certain no NHS units are en route to the scene.
  • If no help arrives, you may hold 'E' to respawn once the bleed-out timer ends, but you must follow NLR.
  • If you bleed out due to a suspected script bug, submit a bug report via Discord for staff consideration. Active roleplay is still required while down.
  • You are strictly prohibited from respawning to intentionally evade or escape an ongoing, unresolved roleplay scenario.
  • Pulling people from a burning vehicle is considered FailRP. You must let the Fire Service handle it or wait until the fire completely goes out.
16. Combat Reviving

This section covers scenarios where you were downed by another player but received medical revival treatment directly on-scene from EMS (excluding the "Dirty Doc" mechanic):

  • You cannot return to the active conflict or situation that caused you to go down. That specific situation must completely conclude before you can interact with those parties again.
  • You must physically stay away from the area and completely avoid joining phone calls or active radio channels with individuals still involved in the ongoing conflict.
  • Once revived on-scene by EMS, you must immediately remove yourself from the area and head to Pillbox or a completely safe location.
  • These restrictions remain active for 60 minutes (1 hour). After this timer, you may freely participate in any entirely separate scenarios that occur.
17. Safe Zones & Server Events

Server Events / The Casino: Events run by players dictate their own specific event parameters. However, unless the organizer states otherwise, server event zones completely prohibit all crime of any scale and messing around or causing general annoyance. The Casino is classified as a server event area at all times.

Safe Zones: Players are strictly forbidden from loitering around safe zones to avoid roleplay, nor can they flee into a safe zone to escape an active chase. If a pre-existing scenario organically leads into a safe zone, the roleplay can continue, but you must leave the area as soon as it concludes (excluding medical centers). Safe zones cover the main building and all surrounding pavements/roads.

Minor crimes are permitted in these safe zones:

  • Any Police Department (PD) Station or active PD Impound lot.
  • Medical Centers: These are strict non-combat zones (no shooting or taking hostages). If players flee here to avoid roleplay, continue the scenario safely and report the infraction.
  • Marked Car Dealerships and Marked Repair Shops.
  • City Hall, Real Estate offices, and Luxury Autos offices.
  • Clothing Stores and Barber Shops (Crime is only permitted if they are actively walking in/out, never while they are inside the customization menus).
  • You must never visit safe zones for the purpose of hunting or searching for hostages. New players spawn at Legion Square; you are strictly prohibited from taking hostages from this location.

The Prison: The prison is a high-security area. It cannot be breached or broken into, and players are prohibited from "camping" the gates waiting for inmates to be released or finish community service. You cannot hand weapons through gaps/fences into the prison; smaller, non-lethal items (e.g., cigarettes, phones) are allowed.

18. Player Robbing & Hostage Taking

Player Robbing:

  • Robbing another player requires a genuine, deep roleplay reason. Simply wanting to steal randomly is not valid.
  • PD officers can be robbed for ammo and armor only once they are fully downed. This must be a last resort and does not excuse shooting officers for the sole purpose of robbing them.
  • You cannot rob players who are actively on duty for Whitelisted jobs while they are at their respective workspace or office locations.
  • You may scam players via roleplay, but you are strictly forbidden from scamming people out of player-owned houses or player-owned vehicles. You are also prohibited from selling players local AI-stolen vehicles.

Hostage Taking:

  • Taking a hostage requires a valid roleplay reason (e.g., a robbery bargaining chip or a detailed interrogation).
  • You cannot take Whitelisted job workers hostage while they are on duty at their office locations (e.g., Car Dealers, Mechanics, Real Estate, DOJ). You are prohibited from calling these services or Uber drivers for the sole purpose of ambushing them for a hostage scenario.
  • NHS & Fire Service staff are completely off-limits and can never be taken hostage anywhere while on duty.
  • Once a crime scenario begins, the hostage must remain at that location and cannot be transported to secondary locations. You cannot use a second hostage at a separate location.
  • Hostages must remain visible to responding PD units or presented upon explicit request.
  • You are strictly prohibited from harming a fully complying hostage. If the police attempt to breach or save the hostage, you are then authorized to attack the hostage.
  • You cannot use your friends or pay players to act as fake hostages.
  • You cannot use PD as a job hostage unless it is a final resort and there are at least 2 other officers present on the scene. You can never take the first responding officer or unarmed negotiators hostage.
  • If you cannot start a robbery job with your hostage, you must release them after 15 minutes. 15 minutes is the absolute maximum duration a hostage can be held in any setup phase.
19. Demands, Negotiations & Robberies

Negotiations: Responding officers have the full right to haggle on terms. PD will not always honor every demand. All negotiations must occur strictly face-to-face.

  • You may demand a maximum cap of up to £50,000 total for ALL hostages combined.
  • Unreasonable demands (e.g., "leave or we shoot instantly" or "all police must drive away entirely") are not permitted. If you have no hostage, officers are authorized to breach, but you may retaliate.

Robberies: There is a strict 1-hour grace period cooldown required between conducting any robbery jobs.

  • The maximum member limit allowed to participate in a single robbery is 4 players total (Pacific Bank allows up to 5). This includes everyone involved inside and out, including getaway drivers stationed down the street.
20. Prison Transports & Vehicles

Prison Transports: The Police Department may utilize up to 8 members max to guard a transport, while Civilians/Gangs are limited to a maximum of 5 members to attempt a breakout. If you leave the active scene, you cannot return, and no secondary backup or additional pickups are permitted for either party.

Vehicle Rules:

  • You cannot utilize vehicles to block doors or structural access points to gain an unfair tactical advantage.
  • Driving vehicles inside buildings is prohibited (authorized Mechanics shops are the only exception).
  • Stealing military vehicles (tanks, fighter jets, etc.) is completely banned. All other standard aircraft and helicopters are fair game to steal.
  • Planes are restricted exclusively to the active transportation of illegal goods (mass drug runs/sales). You cannot use planes for any other criminal activities, including transporting hostages, standard robberies, or gang conflicts. If in doubt, do not use a plane.
  • Helicopters are restricted entirely to passive, non-criminal roleplay scenarios. No crime may be committed using a helicopter.
  • All operational aircraft must maintain an altitude of at least 1000ft. Flying low to the ground is banned, with exceptions granted only to active PD and NHS flights adhering to internal protocols.
  • Using a vehicle as a physical weapon to ram players or properties is classified as VDM and is banned unless your life is in immediate danger (i.e., a gun is pointed directly at you).
  • You must comply with PD requests if pulled over while test-driving a dealership vehicle. You cannot steal a test vehicle for a crime, though you may steal a test vehicle if left completely unattended.
  • Excessive vehicle ramming is prohibited for all parties, including the police department.

Water Chases: You are limited to a maximum of 10 minutes when swimming or using boats to evade the police. Once the 10-minute timer expires, you must return to land and are barred from re-entering the water. You must either continue the pursuit on foot or surrender.

21. Use of Safes
  • Do not deploy or position inventory safes to physically block off internal building doors or access points.
  • Safes must remain fully visible at all times.
  • The police department holds the authority to raid and search any safes they discover during operational duties.
22. Gang Related Activity & Takeovers
  • You are strictly limited to a maximum of 5 players for ANY illegal, mission-based script job (excluding gang vs gang turf fights). This includes: Mass Drug Sales, Gang Robberies, Coke/Heroin runs, Bobcat, and Gruppe 6. Weed and Moonshine activities are exempt from this limit.
  • If the PD responds to a scenario with 8 or more officers, criminal groups are permitted to draft +1 additional member to assist on the scene.
  • Separate gangs/crews are prohibited from executing bank robberies simultaneously. A 30-minute window must pass from when the previous group concludes their scenario (gets caught or escapes) before the next crew can hit a bank. The standard 1-hour cooldown still applies per individual player.
  • You are strictly prohibited from camping rival gang houses, properties, or circling their immediate compound/turf lines.
  • All properties owned by registered gangs are subject to search and raid mechanics if the DOJ issues a valid warrant.
  • Gangs are strictly capped at a maximum of 15 members total. Anyone outside the roster is not in the crew and must completely avoid wearing official gang clothing or participating in meetings/activities.
  • Teaming up or forming alliances with other gangs/groups on the streets is prohibited.
  • If you log into the server after a criminal gang activity (e.g., a territory takeover) has already commenced, you cannot join that scenario. Getting caught doing so results in a punishment and a £100K fine for gangs, or £30K per person for organizations.

Territory Takeovers:

  • Exactly 5 members maximum can participate in a territory takeover to attack or defend (including the initiator). No backups, substitutes, or extra lookouts are allowed. Only the attacking and defending groups can engage each other.
  • At least 1 clear verbal warning must be issued and heard by either side. There is no Kill On Sight (KOS). Shouting is mandatory; failure to follow this results in a gang strike.

Shop Takeovers (Extortion):

  • Limited to 5 members maximum to attack or defend (including the initiator). No tag-ins or secondary pickups. Only the involved groups can fight.
  • 1 clear verbal warning must be given and heard; KOS is banned since stores are public spaces. If a civilian refuses to leave the shop interior, you may use force after allowing sufficient time for them to exit the store (not the general area).
  • PD is authorized to engage immediately without warning if active shooting breaks out.
  • You cannot restrict public access to the business scripts or behave disruptively; actions must remain discreet.
  • NO WARS ARE TO BE DECLARED OVER SHOPS. You cannot target or hunt the group that claims a shop across the map; this is penalized as hunting/war.

Wars / Group Confrontations:

  • Any active group fight out on the streets is strictly limited to 8 members maximum per side.
  • If a full group of 15 is attacked directly on their registered home turf, all 15 can defend the location. However, the attacking party is barred from adding more members to balance the numbers; they must stick to the 8 they initiated with.
  • If a chase occurs, only 8 members max can pursue (whether in vehicles or on foot).
  • Any 8v8 scenario must remain a strict 8v8. No mid-fight pickups, tag-teaming, or "cheerleading" (following the group to call out tactical directions or help) is permitted.
23. Job Power Abuse & Properties
  • Whitelisted jobs cannot be used for criminal gain (e.g., Car Dealers using test cars for crimes, Weazel News using company vehicles to distribute drugs). You must be completely clock-off/off-duty to engage in crime.
  • Abusing whitelisted script powers (e.g., Real Estate agents giving free houses to friends, or PD officers handing weapons to civilians) is strictly banned.
  • PD and DOJ corruption is strictly prohibited.
  • If your job provides a uniform, you must wear it at all times while on duty. If you are approached on the streets without your uniform on, you will be treated as a regular civilian and can be taken hostage despite being clocked in. (Faking being on-duty while off-duty using a uniform will be detected and punished).
  • You may use your personal vehicle to commute to work, but you are required to use official company work vehicles while actively performing your duties on-clock.

Properties & Raids:

  • You enter another player's property or garden at your own risk. Owners hold the right to defend their land and can issue a 30-second warning to trespassers to leave. This interaction serves as valid initiation.
  • Police units cannot enter a private player property without explicit permission or a valid search warrant issued by the DOJ. During a raid, PD holds the right to seize all assets, safes, cars, and houses deemed involved.
  • You are strictly prohibited from executing a house robbery script on your own property or on a property owned by your friends.
24. Police Interactions
  • Pointing any firearm at a police officer constitutes immediate, valid roleplay initiation for them.
  • If you are deemed a threat, officers will issue one clear verbal warning before opening fire.
  • Fleeing from an officer who has a weapon trained directly on you is realistic and is not penalized as NVL.
  • Shootouts with the police are permitted, but you must plan an immediate escape route to avoid dragging the tactical scenario on longer than necessary.
  • If officers observe you looting bodies or attempting to rescue downed comrades during an active shootout, you will be designated Code Red and fired upon immediately.
  • If you request a lawyer, you or the officers can check the phone app. If no legal counsel is active on-duty, you must proceed with the processing scenario and post your case to the #lawyer-desk channel on Discord after the scene concludes.
  • The choices officers make must remain completely realistic; a single officer would not realistically approach a street gang of 15 deep on their own. Be smart.
25. Character Permanent Death (Perma)
  • Joining a whitelisted gang may require you to sign an internal character waiver stating they can permanently kill off your character if you break their rules. Do not sign this if you do not want to risk losing your character. Gangs must draft their rules clearly before you sign.
  • Permanently killing your character is a decision made by you or by signing a valid gang waiver. Once a character is permanently killed, you must delete them. Transferring money, cars, or items before deletion is banned; staff will remove any assets moved this way.
  • If you receive items, vehicles, or funds from a player who is planning to perma-kill their character, you must report it to the staff team immediately. Failure to report this will result in staff tracking and removing the assets.
